I remain amused by the inflamed reactions to this post. It was done to provoke, but none of it is an outright lie. Broad strokes, heavy handed, but also full of actual facts.

Assimilationists who think we have to pretend not to like this stuff to gain equality need to take a Valium.  I enjoy queer cultural aspects and don’t see the need to hide them in the closet.
